Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Lead and coordinate the activities of our multidisciplinary R&D team, setting clear goals and empowering members for peak performance.
- Drive project management strategies to ensure alignment with company objectives and goals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance collaboration and drive project success.
- Monitor project progress and provide scientific support for business development efforts, contributing to new customer acquisition and market expansion.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Represent The Cultivated B. at conferences and trade fairs and coordinate corporate portfolio management cycles aligned with our annual business cycle.
- Taking over primary responsibility for workplace safety in close collaboration with the Functional Safety Manager.

Education and Experience
- A university degree in natural sciences or medicine, ideally complemented by a PhD or equivalent qualification. An MBA or an additional business degree will be considered a plus.
- Several years of proven track record managing complex projects within the life science industry or academia, focusing on portfolio and project management and product launches.
- Strong background in project/program management office functions, project controlling and reporting, resource management, and risk management within fast-paced and agile environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Capability of motivating others and leading by example, encouraging innovative thinking, and driving positive change through influential leadership.
- Resilient and self-motivated personality with excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in IT tools such as MS Office suite, project-planning software (e.g., MS Project), and risk management tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like PMP, CAMP, or PRINCE2 is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in German considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel (around 10% of working time).
